3 RVs damaged by fire at Westmoreland County business

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Firefighters were called to a Westmoreland county business late Wednesday.

Three RVs were damaged by the flames at Vogue Limousines and Kay Rentals on Route 30 in Hempfield Township.

The owner told Channel 11 News he doesn’t understand how the fire could have started because there is no power to the RVs and the propane tanks are empty.

“Basically they are sitting there as a shell,” Terry Kovach said.

A cause of the fire has not been determined.

Surveillance cameras on the property did not show the source of the fire.

"The RVs are on the main highway, so we don't know if something got thrown onto them," Kovach said.

State police are investigating.
