ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A car was destroyed when it caught fire in the middle of rising floodwaters on McKnight Road in Ross Township.
The waters rose quickly, and numerous other vehicles became stuck in the rising floodwaters along the busy thruway.

The drainage system could not keep up Friday, leaving people stranded in cars and businesses.
Heavy downpours caused problems for the third straight day.
A Channel 11 crew at the scene reported that as the water rose, the flames became more intense.
