Firefighters battled flames early Sunday morning at an office building in Green Tree.
The fire was reported shortly before 1 a.m. at a business in Foster Plaza on Andersen Drive. Officials have not said which business caught fire.
Officials said the fire started on the fifth floor, which is the top floor of the building.
Emergency dispatchers said just before 4 a.m. that crews had been able to bring the fire under control.
Sources told Channel 11 that there is extensive water and smoke damage inside the building, which houses at least 20 businesses and employs 200 people.
All of the food inside a restaurant will have to be discarded, Channel 11’s Lori Houy reported.
No injuries were reported.
The fire marshal is investigating and no one is allowed inside the building.
