PITTSBURGH — Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Pittsburgh area will celebrate the Pirates’ home opener by offering a free sandwich to customers donning team attire.
The giveaway will be offered Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at participating restaurant locations. Customers wearing their official Pirates apparel will receive one Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich.

“The Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich is our most classic menu item, so it's a perfect fit for America's most classic game,” Mark Thornsberry, local franchise operator of Chick-fil-A South Hills, said in a release. “We love supporting our home team and hope loyal Pirates fans will join us for a treat in celebration of our home opener.”
