One man was taken to the hospital after he was hit by scaffolding at a construction site.
According to a University of Pittsburgh spokesperson, a scaffold in use by an outside contractor was being dismantled when it tipped.
One of the contractor’s employees was injured and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Emergency crews told a Channel 11 photographer the man’s injuries were minor. Nobody else was hurt.
The contracting crew was cleaning the exterior of Ruskin Hall, which is at the corner of Fifth and Ruskin avenues.
