Nordstrom wants to sell you a designer stone wrapped in leather

If you're looking for a unique gift this year, Nordstrom would like to sell you

Peter Maxwell runs the Los Angeles-based company called Made Solid.  They make the $85 leather-wrapped stones found on the Nordstrom website.

.  Each stone is polished and then fit into custom tanned leather cases.

Reviews of the stones appear to be mixed so far, as internet jokesters find the product page.  One reviewer called it a little pricey, but another claims it better than buying food for her family.  Another comment complained about the lack of instructions and a one-star review pointed out that the "hand-made" stone shows marks from machinery.
