From Chopper 11, crime scene tape was visible, blocking the entrance to multiple stores in the plaza.

Lisa Rodgers, who works at Sola Salons, said she had her young son with her when shots rang out.

“I (saw) a piece of something - I didn’t know it was a bullet at the time – flying by my window, and it landed on the ground. That’s when I reached down and grabbed my son and locked us in my studio."

A second witness, who works in the plaza, told Channel 11 News that a car pulled up and someone opened fire.

According to Allegheny County police, two young men drove themselves to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were treated and released. Police said the men were not cooperating with the investigation.

Police don't believe any of the businesses were targeted.

Hart remained in the Allegheny County jail on Friday.
