PITTSBURGH — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 376 Wednesday afternoon caused a major traffic delay.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on the Parkway East at mile marker 71.5 near 10th Street.

According to PennDOT, the crash caused a lane restriction in the eastbound side for about an hour.

A witness told Channel 11 the tractor-trailer appeared to be pulling over when a car rammed into the back of it, causing the car to catch fire.
Investigators confirmed one person was rushed to the hospital, and Channel 11 crews on scene saw the tractor-trailer and another vehicle with heavy damage against a guardrail.
