CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 14-year-old was killed in a crash in Indiana County Wednesday evening, according to the Indiana County coroner.
It happened on Route 553 near Route 422 around 4:47 p.m.
14-year-old Brittany Keith was killed in a car crash yesterday. She was with her aunt and uncle going to get Christmas gifts, when an oncoming car crossed the center lane. According to a release from the coroner’s office, the car that 14-year-old Brittany Keith was a passenger in tried to avoid a head-on crash with another car that crossed over the centerline.
The car that Keith was in then struck a tree after driving off of the road. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where she was pronounced dead.
