WASHINGTON, Pa. — A man is facing charges after nearly 800 stamp bags of heroin were seized Friday from his home in Washington, the Washington County district attorney said.
Micah Pierce, 44, is facing drug delivery charges and was placed in the Washington County Correctional Facility after failing to post $500,000 bond.
With the assistance of a SWAT team, drug task force detectives served a search warrant Friday morning at Pierce’s home. In addition to the heroin, more than 5 ounces of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and money were found, authorities said.
Officials said the search warrant was obtained after a long-term investigation.
Washington County Drug Task Force Detectives were assisted by Washington City Police and Washington City Police K-9 Officer Tony in the search for and arrest of Pierce.
