The billionaire owner of Washington County-based 84 Lumber has filed for divorce.
Maggie Hardy Magerko, 52, of Rostraver filed divorce papers in Westmoreland County stating she lives apart from her husband, Peter J. Magerko, and that their marriage is irretrievably broken, according to a
story by 11 News partner Triblive.

They married in 1992.
Magerko, who also owns Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Fayette County, is worth $1.3 billion, according to Forbes magazine. Her father, Joseph Hardy, founded 84 Lumber in 1956 and she assumed its presidency in 1992.
