NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Emergency crews were called Wednesday morning to New Kensington after a car struck a building.
Investigators told Channel 11 News that the vehicle struck the Altmeyer’s store in the Riverview Plaza on Tarentum Bridge Road.
The impact shattered the front windows of the store. Police said the driver had a medical condition that may have caused the accident.

“I was told that a passerby saw the car came down and then called 911 because the operator of the car was unconscious,” Bob Altmeyer, the store’s owner, said.
Details about the driver's condition were not immediately available. There were no reports of additional injuries.
