Civil lawsuit served in connection with police chief's 1980 death

Officials in Massachusetts served a civil lawsuit Monday in connection with a local police chief’s death.

Armed with new information from the FBI, the family of Chief Greg Adams filed the civil suit last week to get the suspect's wife and son to talk.

The Bristol County sheriff served the papers to Donald Eugene Webb’s wife and son. Officials knocked on the door but no one answered.
