Clairton pizza delivery driver recovering after savage beating

CLAIRTON, Pa. — Steve Linn’s family said he is recovering after being savagely beaten while delivering a pizza nearly a week ago in Clairton.

Linn was on life support at one point, in a coma and unresponsive. Since then, he’s started talking. His family said he can’t really carry on a full conversation yet and he’ll need neck surgery down the road.

But for right now, they’re grateful for the progress he’s made so far.

The family set up a GoFundMe page and within days more than $11,000 had come in. They hope that money can help cover medical costs.

Police said this is still an ongoing investigation.
