This is probably not how Kennywood envisioned the last weekend of the beloved Log Jammer’s existence.
The popular water ride was shut down for hours Saturday for maintenance issues, the day before the amusement park planned to retire it after 42 years.

The Log Jammer shut down around 10:30 a.m., frustrating people hoping to get one last spin on the flume ride that Kennywood hailed as its first million-dollar attraction when it opened in 1975.
The ride reopened around 4:30 p.m. after the park's maintenance team worked on it most of the day.
