Investigators said a 15-year-old girl used the social media app Snapchat to send a video of a girl apparently holding one of the guns while in a minivan.
Police used Snapchat's map location tool to track the teen, and eventually found the van on Colfax Street.
Police found nine people in the van, including the suspects and six other people ranging in age from 14 to 17 years old. The minors were released to their parents and the guns were found at a home in Tarentum.
All three suspects are from the Tarentum area.
