UPDATE 6 p.m.
A portion of Curry Run Road was destroyed during all the flooding Thursday night in Indiana County.
“Mother Nature is amazing, what the good Lord can do,” said Cory Scrips, who owns H2O Restoration, a family business along Route 422 in Shelocta. An ironic name, considering his place was underwater and every square inch was covered with thick mud.
A lot of people in the area spent Friday cleaning up and throwing things away.
Ryan Holby was stuck for hours on 422 because roads were impassable.
"There was a car underwater, completely sideways, truck underwater, bridges were washed away,” Holby said.
Investigators say 30-year-old Justin McCoy died when his kayak overturned.
He was trying to unclog a pond and was sucked into a pipe.

A captain with the Tunnelton Fire Department confirms the victim, 30-year-old Justin David McCoy of Shelocta, went to unclog a pond on Sportsmans Club Road near the Indiana-Armstrong County line.
The coroner's office said McCoy's kayak flipped over. His legs became trapped in the pipe, causing him to drown, the coroner said.

Baldwin Borough declared a state of emergency after flooding began there last week. Retaining walls at the corner of Brentwood and Schuette roads have collapsed, closing the intersection, and officials fear Streets Run will rise once again and flood that area.
Baldwin and state officials will meet later Friday to find long-term solutions to the borough's flooding issues.
