HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police say three men stole a money bag from a worker closing up a Sonic along Route 30 in Hempfield Township just before midnight Thursday.
A bystander, who tried to intervene, and the victim were shot at but weren't hit.
Police say they pinged a cellphone that was left in the money bag to track down one suspect, Julian Ragans.

He told police that one of the other two suspects, Anthony Casson, worked for Sonic and knew the restaurant's bank deposit methods.
Casson, and the other person charged, Christian Duvall, are still on the run.
