MONONGAHELA, Pa. — A judge just rejected a lawsuit that was trying to block the permanent closing of St. Anthony Church in Monongahela.
Parishioners protested the closing first announced in 2014.
The judge says getting involved would amount to unconstitutional meddling in religious affairs.
Bishop Zubik is asking anyone upset by the ruling to bring new generations of Catholics to the Mon Valley.
