PITTSBURGH — A crash injured three people on the Liberty Bridge after multiple vehicles crashed Thursday afternoon.
The accident temporarily closed the bridge.
The head-on crash along the south side of the bridge caused heavy front-end damage to at least two cars.

Traffic was backed up for miles and continued to be bumper to bumper during rush hour.
Crews worked to clean up the debris.
Three people were injured and rushed to the hospital.
