PITTSBURGH — A man was burned when his trailer caught fire Wednesday morning on a bike trial in Pittsburgh’s Chateau neighborhood, officials said.
It was about 5:30 a.m. when the fire broke out in the trailer, which was along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail near Newport Marina on West North Avenue.

Officials said the man lived in the trailer and got out on his own. He was taken to a hospital with possible second-degree burns on his hands and arms.
Friends told Channel 11 News the man works at the marina and a nearby coffee shop.

The trailer was destroyed by the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
