Man facing federal charges after drugs found in Stanton Heights home

PITTSBURGH — A man is facing federal charges in connection to a drug investigation in Pittsburgh’s Stanton Heights neighborhood, police said.

Pittsburgh police detectives executed a search warrant on Friday at a home on Woodbine Street.

Gary Wilkinson was found inside the home when SWAT officers performed a protective sweep.

Detectives recovered more than 100 grams of cocaine, as well as cash, inside Wilkinson’s bedroom closet, police said.

Wilkinson was charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
