PITTSBURGH — A man was shot and killed early Thursday morning inside an apartment in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood, police said.
The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. on East Hills Drive, where investigators were seen looking for clues around the apartment building. The area was taped off.
Police said the victim was 34-year-old Robert Earl Ford III, of Wilkinsburg. Officials ruled his death a homicide and said he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators have not identified a suspect.
