A woman told police when she saw Jeremiah Cubarney in the news, she knew she had to come forward and file charges.
Even in a drug treatment program, police keep filing charges against Cubarney, a tree service contractor. The latest is out of Penn Township, Butler County.
Channel 11 just got a hold of the criminal complaint. Police say Cubarney took money from a woman to do a tree-trimming job, cashed the check and never came back. It's the same type of crime we've been telling you about for more than a month, during which the felony charges kept piling up.

Channel 11 introduced you to some of the people who signed contracts with Cubarney, including 74-year-old Robert Campbell from Middlesex Township.
“I thought he was a nice guy. He was agreeable,” Campbell said.
Marty Franz and her 85-year-old mother from Richland Township, Allegheny County, also say Cubarney fooled them.
"We thought he was a nice person,” Franz said.
Police say that “nice person” has committed felonies in multiple counties, taken money from dozens and dozens of people, and even though he writes up contracts like he did for Campbell, police say they're no good.
Detectives still believe there are more victims out there. The victims Channel 11 spoke to just want their money back.
“Isn't that what we all want?” Campbell said.
Cubarney’s attorney says he is in a 90-day drug program and plans to repay all his victims.
