ZELIENOPLE, Pa. — Butler County 911 confirmed a multivehicle crash northbound on Interstate 79 prior to the Zelienople exit.
Injuries were reported and two people were taken to the hospital, according to police.
Two vehicles were involved.

The incident happened around 8:46 a.m. Saturday.

Both northbound lanes of I-79 were closed prior to the Zelienople exit. Police were forcing northbound traffic to use an emergency turnaround in the median to get onto I-79 southbound.
I-79 south traffic is expected to be normal, while I-79 north is still closed.
