The new baby elephant at the Pittsburgh Zoo is starting to spend time with the rest of the herd.
This is the next big milestone for the female born last month.
According to zoo officials, she will be spending two hours with the elephant herd off exhibit for two hours every day.
Then visitors will be able to see her in the indoor family room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting Friday, July 14.
Introducing the calf to her new family is a step-by-step process that will take time, according to zookeepers.
