Last week he helped make a drug-related arrest, and the two suspects allegedly tore open bags of drugs. The powdery drug spread through the suspects' car. After the arrest, another officer noticed some of the powder on Green's shirt. He said he isn't sure if the drug went through his skin or became airborne, but he started to not feel well.
Medics at the police station gave Green four doses of Narcan. He remembers waking up in the hospital.
Green also told WFMJ he is grateful he never made it home that day since he could have exposed his family or dogs to it.
