SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A paramedic was dragged by a car through a grocery store parking lot in Butler County.
The driver is now facing charges.
State troopers told Channel 11 a paramedic found Dakota Hinchberger behind the wheel of his running car in a busy Giant Eagle parking lot in Slippery Rock Township.
The call came out as a man with a medical condition inside a car.

According to troopers, when paramedic Shawn Johnson, one of the first at the scene, made contact, the man put the car in drive and accelerated.
Johnson hung on and was dragged seven to 10 feet.
While Johnson was holding on, troopers said he grabbed the gear shifter and threw it into park to stop the car.
Troopers say the paramedic's actions saved lives. Once arrested, paperwork says Hinchberger had what was thought to be heroin on him, along with needles and crack pipes in his car.
