Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Upper St. Clair

A vehicle struck a person in the South Hills on Tuesday afternoon.

The victim was seriously injured in the incident at Bower Hill and Painters Run roads on the border of Upper St. Clair and Scott Township, according to Allegheny County emergency dispatchers.

The intersection has been temporarily closed.
