Discussions about banning backpacks in schools have come up in Pennsylvania after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
The policy has already been put into effect at schools in Florida and Ohio. In Pennsylvania, several districts are against the idea.
Near State College, schools have said they will increase police presence at schools rather than ban backpacks, WJAC-TV reported. Some are, however, keeping an open mind about having clear backpacks.
