Police have arrested a man suspected of stealing a vehicle and dragging a good Samaritan down an interstate Sunday.
Pennsylvania State Police in Washington said they arrested Ivan Sadler on Wednesday after finding him in possession of a stolen vehicle on Moore Road in West Finley Township, Washington County.
Sadler is suspected of multiple burglaries and thefts that occurred over the past week between multiple counties, including the case of the good Samaritan, who was dragged along Interstate 79 on Sunday.

Police said earlier in the week that a man stole a woman's car and went on a shopping spree with her credit cards before crashing her Kia on I-79 near the Carnegie exit.
Todd Krut, a 54-year-old man from Claysville, pulled over on southbound I-79 around 2:30 p.m. Sunday to help the man driving the vehicle, police said.
Krut was looking at the Kia when the driver, whom police believe to be Sadler, climbed into his Ford pickup truck and began to drive off, police said. Krut ran back to his truck and hung on to it, eventually being dragged about 100 feet before falling onto the road, police said. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.
Krut’s pickup truck was found in Ingram Borough, where police put out an alert about a home invasion and stolen car on Wynne Avenue this week.
"With him still being out on the road, you always have that fear they're going to be coming back," Krut said. "I still think I would help people, but I would be more cautious. 2 o'clock in the morning. I think next time, I'll just stay in the truck and dial 911."
He was just released from the hospital Wednesday and is recovering at his home with several broken bones and road rash. A medical fund for him has been set up at
.
"I think it's wonderful," Krut said, reacting to the news that the man responsible for his broken bones and road rash is now in jail. "I have some anger towards him, but I also think this guy needs help."
Another driver, Andy Ullom, found Krut, but was afraid to move him from the highway because of his injuries.
"The best thing I could do was to keep vehicles off of him," Ullom said.
Sadler was taken to the Washington County Jail on an outstanding parole warrant, and charges are forthcoming, police said.
