Police: Man killed in attempted wheel theft in Homewood

PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating after the body of a man was found under a vehicle in the Homewood section of Pittsburgh Tuesday morning.

Investigators were called to the 7100 block of Kelly Street just before 8:30 a.m.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Jeremy Michael Dickey, 41, of Wilkinsburg.

According to investigation, police believe the man was attempting to steal wheels from a van when the vehicle fell on top of him.
