A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning while sleeping at his home in Fayette County – by his wife.
Suzann Bricker, 49, fired one shot from a .22 caliber pistol that hit her husband, Steve Bricker, 51, in the chest around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

The incident took place inside the couple’s residence on Sheldon Avenue in Fairchance, located in Georges Township, according to police reports.
Steve Bricker was dead before police arrived at the scene.
According to police reports, Suzann Bricker shot herself in the chest after shooting her husband. She suffered a minor injury and drove herself to Uniontown Hospital.
Suzann Bricker was eventually transported to Allegheny General Hospital trauma center, the police report said.
She is being charged with criminal homicide and is currently awaiting arraignment.
