PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle Inc. is voluntarily recalling Market District Toasted Crumb Tilapia, PLUs 09123 and 19123, which is sold fresh from the seafood food department of its supermarkets, due to an undeclared milk allergen.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat it.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with this recall yet.

The Toasted Crumb Tilapia is part of a national voluntary recall issued by the product supplier, Slade Gorton and Co. Inc., and was available for purchase in store from March 10 through June 9, 2017.
Customers should throw it away or return it to their local Giant Eagle or Market District store for a refund.
