An attack at Highlands High School landed the superintendent in the hospital and a student behind bars.
Police said 18-year-old Jonathan McCormick assaulted superintendent Michael Bjalobak Thursday.
Bjalobak missed school Friday.
McCormick is facing a felony over the incident and is currently out of jail.
The superintendent should be back at work Monday.
