FOREST HILLS, Pa. — Two people are in the hospital and a suspect is in custody after a crash involving a stolen EMS vehicle.
According to a criminal complaint, Matthew King, 24, allegedly stole the vehicle after an emergency responder parked it at PPG Paints Arena around midnight.
Police said the driver of the EMS vehicle immediately entered the building responding to an emergency call. While the driver was inside, according to the complaint, King entered the vehicle and drove away.

The complaint also said a witness staying at a nearby hotel captured King stealing the vehicle on video.

King then crashed the vehicle into an Audi SUV on Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills, according to police. The two people who were inside the Audi were injured in the crash and were transported to local hospitals.
Police said they are both are in stable condition
King suffered a broken collarbone in the collision, according to the complaint, and is now in custody.
