SUV becomes wedged under tractor-trailer in Beaver Falls

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — One person was flown to a hospital Friday morning after a two-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer in Beaver Falls, emergency dispatchers said.

The front end of an SUV became wedged beneath the truck on Route 18.

Parts of Route 18 and Route 551 were closed while police investigated and crews worked to clear the accident.
