FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A neighborhood in one Beaver County community woke up to find police everywhere Wednesday.

Scott and Kristal Sanders spoke only with Channel 11 about the scary ordeal that shut down their road.
They not only watched from their window, they rolled with their cellphones on everything that was happening outside and shared that video only with Channel 11.
Verna Way in Franklin Township Beaver County was overtaken by SWAT, state police and local police for more than three hours Wednesday morning.

“There were guns drawn. There was a lady right here by our house with a gun pointed at that house,” said Kristal,
Franklin Township police told Channel 11 it all started Tuesday night with a suicidal man inside the house.
They went there several times but no one answered. On Wednesday morning, it escalated when the man told police he had a gun and any officer that came to the door he would shoot immediately, according to police
Police are not releasing the 36-year-old man's name, but say he does have priors and is on parole.
They managed to bring him out without anyone getting hurt.
Neighbors tell channel 11 police are always at this house and they are tired of it.
“We have kids this was very scary it needs to end,” said Scott.
