A teacher in the Big Beaver Falls School District was killed Sunday in an ATV crash in Daugherty Township.
Alex Olshanski, 39, died in the accident, which was reported about midnight on Inman Road in Daugherty Township, Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported.
“The entire Beaver Falls community, our school board, staff and students extend our sincere condolences, sympathies and prayers to his family,” the district said in a statement. “Mr. Olshanski was a vibrant teacher, full of life and loved and respected by his students and coworkers. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.”
The district said extra counselors will be available to students at all schools on Monday.
