A University of Pittsburgh Medical Center hospital issued a warning Thursday about a potentially lethal batch of heroin.
Officials with UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport said their providers have treated 36 patients with heroin overdoses over the past 24 hours.
Though the hospital is not in the greater Pittsburgh area, heroin traffickers are known to move the drug across the state.
