PITTSBURGH — Loved ones remembered a young mother Tuesday night, who was gunned down in front of her 7-month-old daughter.
"Nicki needs justice, right is right, wrong is wrong," said Brandi Boyd, Nicole Dailey's cousin. She described her as bubbly, family oriented and loving to sing. "We are devastated. We're crushed. She didn't deserve it. She didn't deserve it."
It was Sunday night when police tell Channel 11 Nicki was gunned down, shot multiple times across the street from her home on North Charles Street in Perry South, with her baby girl Nia reportedly in her arms.
A vigil was held in the very spot Nicki lost her life, organized by a childhood friend.
