NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A North Huntingdon man is accused of cutting a woman during what he called a "satanic ritual."
Police said Kyle Parker, 21, used a razor blade to cut the woman multiple times at his home Jan. 10.
"I'm not surprised at all by what happened because he has a record for stuff like this," said neighbor Mike Bazala. "I do think he just goes for shock value, I don't think he's a Satanic cultist, I think he wants people to be scared and fear him."
According to police, Parker said his actions were because he was performing a Satanic ritual.

"I mean, we've had some strange things, but this is getting up there in unique," said Lt. Rodney Mahinske with North Huntingdon police.
The young woman told police she went to Parker's house on Brownstown Road in North Huntingdon earlier this week; she said the two got into an argument and she started hyperventilating before passing out.
"Before she could leave, he grabbed her hand and got a razor blade and sliced her palm with the razor blade," Mahinske said. "I think he's just different, off the wall."
She told police she woke up to him using the razor blade on her calf.

She went back the next day to get her car and belongings when Parker told her, "By the way, I sold your soul to the devil."
"He has done stuff like this in the past, but nothing to this level," Bazala said. "I think he goes for shock value, I don't actually think he's part of a cult, we've lived next to him for a long time and it's just become normal."
Parker is charged with simple assault and harassment.
