WASHINGTON — The National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced Friday that Columbia University students will have the opportunity to speak with an astronaut at the International Space Station.

A NASA press release said the 20-minute call will take place Thursday at 1:10 p.m. Eastern time.

Students of the Ivy League school will speak with Expedition 47 Commander Tim Kopra, who got his master's degree in business through a joint program with Columbia and London Business School.

The call is part of the Columbia Business School's centennial celebration.
