Steve Harvey might have met his match in Olden Thornton, a pastor for the Raleigh International Church, who bears a striking resemblance to the talk show and “Family Feud” host.
Thornton, who has been a pastor for 17 years, made his appearance on “Family Feud” in August and wasted no time in letting Harvey know that he’s noticed the resemblance.
“I love what I do, but every single day of my life people come up to me and call me ‘Steve Harvey,’” said Thornton. “And I don’t even have your money. I mean, I think I should get compensated or something.”
Steve Harvey took the meeting in stride, grinning while Thornton riffed on their similarities.
Thornton, apparently, secured his spot by submitting a video that proclaimed that Thornton should be the host of “Family Feud.”
“It ain’t a bad deal man, ... man you look like me!” said Harvey.
Harvey, a comedian, displayed his sense of humor as he responded to Thornton.
“I hate to say this, but I’m an honest guy. You’re actually a little better looking than I am.”
