CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — An Ohio woman living in Washington, D.C., had her dying wish for a milkshake from a popular Cleveland restaurant fulfilled.
Emily Pomeranz, 50, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and moved to hospice treatment when she asked her friend for a mocha milkshake from Tommy's Restaurant, according to WKYC.
Her friend and Tommy Fello, the restaurant's owner, figured out a way using dry ice to pack and ship the milkshake for its 375 mile journey to Virginia.
Pomeranz was able to enjoy it before she died last week.
