The Steelers will have a new offensive coordinator next season.
The team will not re-sign Todd Haley, often a target for frustrated fans, whose contract ended after Sunday's playoff loss to Jacksonville.
"I have made the decision to not renew the contract for offensive coordinator Todd Haley," head coach Mike Tomlin said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. "I would like to thank Todd for his contributions to our offense the past six years, and we wish him the best in his coaching future."

The Steelers hired Haley in 2012 after his three-year stint as the head coach in Kansas City. His father previously worked in the Steelers' front office for nearly 20 years and Haley spent his childhood in Upper St. Clair.
The Steelers have finished in the top 10 in offensive yardage the last four seasons.
The news comes a day after Tomlin noted there would be "consequences" after the Steelers' embarrassing playoff exit, although he did not offer details.
