PITTSBURGH — Nick Bonino’s daughter is celebrating yet another playoff series win by the Pittsburgh Penguins, prepping for the possibility that her dad and teammates will soon hoist Lord Stanley's cup.
Bonino has made it a habit of posting pictures of his daughter on Twitter after each of the Penguins’ successful playoff rounds this season. And it was no different after Thursday night’s Eastern Conference Finals win against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
A photo posted Friday of Bonino’s daughter, Maze, showed her happily sitting next to a stuffed penguin while holding a cup, albeit not the Stanley Cup.
“Great series. Excited to keep playing. Maze figured out penguins, they're cool. Wrong cup though, right idea #gopens,” the adorable photo was captioned.

Maze’s excitement was much more evident this time around than it was when she last sat next to the stuffed penguin, after the Penguins dashed the Washington Capitals’ hopes of making it to the Stanley Cup.
After that win, Bonino tweeted a photo of Maze with the same stuffed penguin towering over her -- and she wasn’t too sure about it.
“Great series. Excited to keep playing. Maisie isn't sure about Penguins right now, but she'll figure it out. #gopens,” the tweet said.
