Heat continues this week with a slight chance of shower, storm Monday

PITTSBURGH — You’ll need your AC this week.

Temperatures will dip to the upper 60s tonight with a mostly clear sky and Monday will bring another hot day to western PA. Look for highs in the low 90s with a partly cloudy sky. We’ll have a slight chance of a shower or t-storm in the afternoon but most areas, once again, look to stay dry.

The humidity will steadily climb through next week with heat index values in the mid-90s. Air temperatures will continue to climb to the low to mid-90s through Friday. We could really use some rain for our lawns and to help cool us off.

Isolated showers and t-storms could occur through the week but no organized weather is expected until next weekend.
