Department president Bob Skocich told us the vote was brought to the floor, meaning all 28 members had a say. The vote was not unanimous, but it was overwhelming.

“Tonight, we made an executive decision with a vote to the floor, and until we consult with out attorney to finalize everything, I cannot make further comment on it,” he said.
