PITTSBURGH — A man was found shot in Homewood West Friday evening.
Pittsburgh police said officers were called to a seven-round ShotSpotter notification in the 500 block of N. Homewood Avenue just after 5 p.m.
A short time later, a man in his 30s was found in the 900 block of N. Murtland Street. He had been shot in the forearm.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Crime Scene Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene and the Violent Crime Unit will continue with the investigation.
